Dear Future Children…

Hi everyone it’s Mother’s Day today! A day to celebrate all the amazing things our mothers do for us and we can give them something back. I would like to give a shoutout to my amazing mum who gives me the world!! Seen as it’s Mother’s Day I was thinking about when I have my own children and what they will be like. I have been seeing a lot of posts recently, a letter to my future children and I love the idea and thought I should give it a try!

Dear future children,
I hope you love the world and treat everything in it equally and lovingly. I hope I am a good mother and we have a good relationship as I don’t know you yet but I know you mean the world to me as I love you so very much. I hope that you are kind and funny children who make me smile every day (I know you will). I hope I can give you the world and everything you deserve as your grandparents gave me and your uncle. I want you to grow up by the sea and love it as I do. I want you to know your uncle and grandparents and mummy’s best friend very well and they be a very important part of your life. I want you to love each other and be really close. I want you to know you are not alone not matter how much it feels like you are you’re not. I will always be here for you no matter what happens. I want you to know what is right and what is wrong and follow your heart. I love you so very much,

Love mummy xxxxxx

      1. Haha we have this thing in our family where we just don’t give each other presents like for birthdays or holidays another one of the reasons we don’t celebrate Christmas. So I didn;t get anything for my birthday but I still get stuff just not presents like of I asked for a camera my dad would buy me one and stuff but like we don’t do the whole surprise or guess the gift thing we just ask what do you want and then we buy it for them. It has its negatives but it means that whatever I want I”’ gte it and I don’t get something I don’t want or there’s never like this feeling where I am like I wish they had gotten me this instead of that. So it has its positives as well. So in short my mum said there’s nothing she wants at the moment so we didn’t get her anything but like if in a week’s time she wants I don’t know some flowers we, my father and I, would buy her some flowers even though it’s not any holiday. It’s confusing but simple. Haha xxx
